Five steps, every order
Wherever you start, your order is made the same way. Here is what happens, step by step.
You choose.
Pick a design: an original print from PrintLab, or your own artwork through Custom Upload. Then choose your base fabric and your length, down to the metre. One metre or one hundred, no minimums. On PrintLab and with Custom Upload, price follows the base fabric and the length you choose, so the exact figure updates as you build the order.
We confirm.
If you have uploaded your own artwork, format and size are checked automatically at upload, so anything that needs adjusting is flagged before you order. Once your order is placed, you get a confirmation by email and it moves into production.
We print, on demand.
Your fabric is printed to your length on the base you chose. Nothing is printed until you order it, so nothing is made that is not wanted, and there is no inventory to write off. Ordering from The Yard? There is no print step. Your fabric is cut to length from stock and moves straight to the check.
We check, before it ships.
Before anything ships, your order is inspected for print quality, fabric faults, repeat alignment. Anything that doesn’t pass is reprinted, not shipped. It’s the same standard we held supplying the trade for twenty years.

Your order is printed, checked and dispatched within 7 to 10 business days, then 10 to 18 days in transit, tracked to your door. Duties and taxes are shown at checkout, so the price you see is the price you pay.
Two ways your fabric is printed
Reactive for naturals. Sublimation for synthetics.
Every printed order uses one of two methods, matched to the fibre of the base you choose. Both bond the ink into the fabric itself, not onto the surface, so the colour will not crack or peel and your fabric still feels like fabric.
For natural fibres
Reactive dye printing
The dye reacts with the fibre and becomes part of it. Deep, lasting colour with the fabric's natural softness untouched.
